Repairs and Maintenance
Rescue
Accident repair and fixes for common issues such as pad replacement, cork adjustment, minor damage and mechanical repairs. Includes a general ‘tune-up' to improve playability. Gets you back on the road.
Refresh
A regular or ‘short’ service to keep your instrument playing smoothly. Includes pad and key adjustments, light cleaning, lubrication, and mechanical regulation without full disassembly. Your instruments’ MOT.
Restore
The ‘full’ service (aka Clean, Oil, Adjust). Complete disassembly and cleaning, full mechanical regulation, pad seating / replacement, and professionally set up to play like new again. Greatly prolongs the life of your current setup.
Renew
The 'Repair Shop’ option for well-used or neglected instruments. A full mechanical overhaul, deep clean, fresh pads, new corks and a meticulous set up to give your instrument a new lease of life. Will play and fell better than it ever did!

Instruments for sale
The new SWR Shop now offers a range of fully refurbished instruments and mouthpieces suitable for beginners, improvers, doublers and pros.
Each instrument is completely stripped, deep cleaned, and carefully re-built with worn or defective parts replaced as neccessary. A full mechanical overhaul, professional setup-up and thorough play-test ensures that your 'new' instrument actually plays like new!
All instruments come with a 3-month warranty and a 12-month service in the workshop. Seven day trials also available on request.

With almost 40 years experience as both a woodwind technician and professional musician, I fully understand the importance of playing a perfectly functioning instrument that won't hold you back. My repair expertise covers all types of saxophones, clarinets and flutes and I take pride in a meticulous attention to detail given to every instrument - nothing leaves the workshop that I wouldn’t be happy to perform on!
